As the United States continues legalizing domestic sports betting across the mainland, one thing has become apparent; online casino legalization must follow suit. 

To date, 33 states and Washington D.C. allow domestic sports betting, according to the American Gaming Association; however, only a fraction of those states allow online sports gambling. There are also a total of 44 states that offer some form of domestic casino gambling, either tribal or commercial. Still, only six states have opened their doors to online casino gambling from the United States.
